Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) – Complex Care & Developmental Services Location: Greater Toronto Area Status: Full-time (preference) and Part-time Opportunities

The Opportunity
The RPN will play a key role in providing person-centred, holistic care within residential and community settings for clients who may be reliant on life-sustaining technology. Working collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team, the RPN will ensure the delivery of safe, dignified, and high-quality care that promotes health, well-being, and inclusion.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver nursing care in alignment with the College of Nurses of Ontario standards and organizational policies.
Provide direct support in daily living activities, medication administration, and therapeutic or recreational programming.
Assess client needs, develop and evaluate care plans, and maintain accurate documentation.
Collaborate with families, guardians, and healthcare professionals to design and implement individualized care plans.
Participate in staff training, mentorship, and leadership support as required.
Maintain a safe, hygienic, and nurturing environment, ensuring compliance with infection prevention and control standards.
Support emergency staffing requirements and flexible scheduling to meet client care needs.
Ideal Candidate Profile
2–3 years of experience providing care to medically complex clients, ideally those requiring technology-assisted interventions (e.g., tracheostomy, G-tube, central lines, home ventilation).
Current Certificate of Competence as a Registered Practical Nurse (CNO).
Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and documentation skills.
Collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
Demonstrated flexibility, reliability, and empathy in a residential or healthcare environment.
Completion of specialized pediatric training (e.g., SickKids Learning Institute or McMaster Connected Care) is an asset. This would be provided for all employees and is incredible training.
